The Mind and The Relationship How Relationship Forms

“Whenever there’s the mind, there’s always some kind of relationship present.”

Today, let’s talk about the word, “Relationship”. When you use a “relationship lens” to zoom in on yourself, people and situations or things, you can come up with vital insights or wisdom.

Starting with your own “self”, have you ever noticed that… one moment, you have a good relationship with yourself; while, the other moment, you have a bad relationship with yourself?

Same as with other people, one moment or time, you have a good relationship with the people around you; while, the other moment or time, you have a bad relationship with them.

Likewise, with things or situations, one moment or time, you have a good relationship with your situation, your environment or context; while, the other moment or time, you have a bad relationship with them.

Why do these phenomena keep happening to us time after time? Can’t we just have only a good relationship with our “self”, people and things or situations?

The root or origin of each and every relationship comes from “The Mind”. When our “mind” comes into contact with something such as our “self”, other people and things or situations, it automatically forms the so-called, “relationship” with those aforementioned unknowingly or unconsciously.

At one time when we have a good relationship with the aforementioned, it basically means that… they satisfy or please our mind. At another time, when we have a bad relationship with them, it basically means that… they dissatisfy or displease our mind.

So, with this emerging insight into our “mind”, what and how are we going to do with this insight on the way forward?

For me, I’ll keep practicing my daily ritual which is… mindfulness meditation in my daily life. Why do I need to do so?

I’ll keep practicing mindfulness meditation in order to become better at observing my mind in each and every moment so that I can become more effectively aware and conscious of my mind and its relationship with myself, with the people around me, and the situations, the environments or the contexts that I’m situated in.

When we become aware of our mind, then we’ll become awakened.

When we become awakened, then we’ll become blissful.

When we become blissful, then we’ll have good relationship with the aforementioned.

If you would like to become effectively aware and conscious of your mind and its relationship with the aforementioned also, then let’s talk!
