As we look towards the future, several transformative trends are emerging that will reshape the way we live, work, and learn.

Here are my bold predictions for the future:

1. Education

Universities may face significant challenges as Generation Alpha opts to learn from AI. With AI enabling learning from anywhere, the traditional university model could become obsolete. This shift might lead to many universities facing financial difficulties, much like companies that fail to adapt to changing market conditions.

2. Work

In the next 5 to 10 years, Generation Z might prefer entrepreneurship over traditional employment. The Gig economy will become the norm, with companies hiring more outsourced contractors than permanent employees. The ratio of outsourced contractors to permanent employees could even reach 80:20 or 90:10.

Generation Z and Alpha will likely become solopreneurs, leveraging Agentic AI to support their businesses. They won’t need to hire many permanent employees, relying instead on a few human contractors and AI assistance.

This shift will lead to a booming and blooming coaching industry, as solopreneurs seek personal coaches for guidance and support in their personal and professional lives.

3. Life

As AI integration advances and the world rapidly evolves, people will increasingly seek well-being and peace of mind. They will look for meaning in their lives, turning to spirituality to handle emotional stress, burnout, and depression. This era may herald a transition into the New Age or Spiritual Age.

Coaching will play a crucial role in this transition, helping individuals find purpose and emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being amidst the relentless changes in the AI era.
